The Chicken Legs Team, who studied the effect of lack of gravity on the human body, earned the 2nd Place Champions Award for fully embracing the Core Values, and achieved Excellence and Innovation in both the Robot Game and Project. They will advance to the FIRST LEGO League Curiosity Division Championship, Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at McCollum High School in San Antonio.
The Boredom Busters, who studied the effects of boredom for kids during future space travel missions to Mars, earned 1st Place for Robot Design. They were able to show their design process and demonstrate that their robot was durable, efficient and highly capable of performing the challenging missions.
