Course Expo on January 27

Students in grades 8 through 11 will have the opportunity to explore course options and endorsement tracks in a conference style setting during 6th through 8th periods.

Parent Registration Informational Meeting

The counseling staff of Robert G. Cole Middle/ High School invites you to attend an informational meeting about graduation requirements to help you help your student with the upcoming course registration process. There will also be information presented on the Alamo Academies Program and Dual Credit/Enrollment offerings.

Public Hearing to Share the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)

Fort Sam Houston ISD is conducting a Public Hearing to share the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). The public meeting will be held during the FSHISD Board of Trustees meeting which is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017, in the Fort Sam Houston ISD Professional Development Center.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Robert G. Cole Stadium on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10am.
Come join us at the stadium as we start a new chapter for our Cole Cougars with the stadium renovation. When the project is completed in August 2017, we will have new field turf, track, scoreboard, concession stands, restrooms, and bleachers – this is a complete makeover for our stadium!

Non Resident Transfer Student Program Closed

The NRT program is closed and no longer accepting applications for the 2016 – 2017 school year. Check our website in March for information about the NRT program for the next school year.

Dual Credit Registration Information Available

Robert G. Cole High School offers dual credit courses to high school students. Dual credit allows a high school student the opportunity to earn college and high school credit concurrently. The attached is brief information on registration into the program and links to helpful resources.

Planning Meeting for Cole's Got Talent

There will be a planning meeting for the seniors and senior parents for Project Graduation's biggest event, Cole's Got Talent, on January 18th at 5:30 in the HS Mall. A lot of help is needed in making this event, the groups' largest fundraising activity, a success. Hope to see you there!

Prefreshman Engineering Summer Program

This free summer program is opened to students in grades 6 through 10. An informational meeting will be held on January 11, 2017 in the middle school mall area from 5:30 pm - 6:30pm. A representative from UTSA will be conducting the meeting. Applications can be found in the middle and high school front offices or online at www.prep-utsa.org.

Information on New A-F Rating System

The Texas Legislature will soon consider a preliminary “what if” report for a new accountability system using an A – F rating system for districts and schools. Although slated to begin in 2018, the Texas Education Agency is releasing the new model of ratings to the public on January 6 and will include ratings based on a grade each district and campus would have received if the new system was in place. This “what if” rating does not impact the official 2016 accountability results.
